Nicola Carta – Birth Doula – Hypnobirthing Teacher

Our in-house Doula Nicola Carter works across Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire as a Birth Doula, as well as offering hypnobirthing classes and placenta encapsulation and remedies. She’s also a Fertility Coach, supporting individuals and couples to understand and manage the emotions that affect their fertility.

Nicola specialises in perinatal mental wellbeing, focusing on supporting good maternal mental health. With 1 in 5 women suffering from perinatal mental illness & limited clinical support available, much of Nicola’s boundless energy is directed towards supporting women and couples through the highs and lows of their individual fertility journeys.

As well as her in-person and online Doula and coaching work, Nicola has also founded a not-for-profit called PND Mummies CIC, which is currently wholly online due to Covid-19.
